Behind The Camera

People have been asking me for a look into what happens behind the scenes. What is it really like to film a 95 day relay run around the world. It all sounds glamorous I know, but the reality was I worked harder than I ever had in my entire life put together. In alot of ways it was one of the hardest jobs I have ever had and also the most rewarding. I still have dreams about it. In one dream we got all the way around the world and back to New York and got told we had to back track around the way we came! Another reoccuring dream I have is that I am on that job and my camera gets stolen. It's been over a year since we finished and amazing how it is still with me, and makes everything else I do seem so easy. We worked 100 days strait and slept an average of 4 hours a day. I tapped into resources I never knew I had and have more stamina than I realized. I also learned it is possible to function on copious amounts of Redbull and coffee over an extended period of time, and is what kept me going. I do love my job, however, which is also what kept me going. video
